Unique Recruit Beep is probably the character in Kenshi most likely to lose limbs. After being outfitted with a Robot Limb, Beep will refer to himself as Cyberbeep in Zone entry dialogue and upon seeing a neutral skeleton character, will say something along the lines of "hello fellow skeleton!" or "hi! beep is a skeleton too!"
Typically, this is understood to be simply another world concept which beep is kinda wrong about, similar to how he is unable to distinguish whether a character is female. Beep may not have known many actual skeletons before being recruited by the player, but he does have knowledge of the hive.
The Hive Queen race (used in The Queen and Queen of the South) is considered a skeleton race by the game. Hive Queens look like organic characters who had a large part of their stomach removed and replaced with prosthetics.
If Hive Queens are considered Skeletons, by that logic any organic character with robotic body enhancements IS a skeleton. Therefore, when the skeleton characters respond to Beep as though he is crazy, they're being elitists. Cyberbeep is a real skeleton.
