so i decided to move my base and as i arrived at my spot i realise i cant place buildings anymore ... i go to build mode select whatever (even stuff from "camp" tab) but when it goes green and i click, nothing happens :(
i tried switching off building themed mods (didnt get anything new recently), importing game, other savegames but cant find any solution :(
ii installed a new hard drive yesterday and moved steam to it but all went fine there
anyone out there able to help?

I found a similar problem and eventually saw that the key binding for selection wasn't set to anything, so I set it back to Mouse1 -
