Head plates were invented by an old forgotten clan that was obsessed with luck. Before battle they used prophets and shamans to predict where on their head the next fatal blow was due to land, then position the metal plate on their head accordingly. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. Such is luck, they would say.
The Side-Angle Hachigane is a Light Armour that is equipped in the Headgear slot. It can be sold in UC Armour and Hat shops, as well as Ronin Hat Shops. This headgear is exclusive to Humans.
Of all light armour class headgear available, this item provides the most protection, but it has a low head coverage and it the only piece of armour in that category which needs a Heavy Armour Smithy in order to craft it.
