Sabres are a class of weapons that specialize in heavy cutting damage with an added splash of blunt damage.
Sabres are generally defensive weapons, most featuring a defensive bonus in exchange for an attack penalty. Their attacking animations are rather fast which leaves fewer openings for others to exploit. It's not rare to see a skilled Sabre wielder stunlocking their enemy if they get pushed into a corner.

"Affects damage. A sabre is a heavy blade designed for heavy slashing damage. The heavier blade makes them slower and more cumbersome but stronger for blocking with and cutting through armour."
