Raptor Island is a large landmass on the Western coast of the continent. It is slightly to the north of the Fog Islands and appears sandy with a small mountain range in the center of the island.

Raptor Island is aptly named for its abundance of Swamp Raptors. None of the raptors are aggressive, but they do get annoyed by standing near their nests.

In terms of natural scenery, it is also abundant in shrubbery and hosts a few sparse trees, which is fitting for its sandy appearance.


There are no Major Towns or Minor Outposts in Raptor Island. This zone does not spawn Camps or have any Homeless Spawns.

 Ancient Locations[]

These are places which do not have competent inhabitants. Ancient Locations are usually lost outposts or ruins. Beware: sometimes these locations contain territorial protectors such as Security Spiders.


Nests are temporary locations which can spawn randomly and typically belong to Animals.

This zone has the 'coastal' season. Seasons may cause harmful Weather Effects or be purely aesthetic.

  • A Megaraptor with 50-57 stats resides inside an ancient citadel-turned-nest with a variety of mid-range weapons and armour. Since the nest is partially sunk, speed is severely reduced, but a sufficiently high athletics character can grab one of the weapons and escape before the mega raptor (whose speed is unaffected) hits.
  • It is the perfect Hashish production zone as long as you can take out the Megaraptor and have the means to produce Hemp via Hydroponics. It is void of copper but very rich with iron and skins, it is a tier 3 out of 5 outpost location. Happy hunting and good luck settling with the reptilian locusts.
