Word has it, the flame’s been burning for five thousand years… I mean, that’s gotta be the work of a god, right? |

Okran's Pride is the symbolic region and home to the Capital (Blister Hill) of The Holy Nation, it is the most populated region in the whole of Kenshi. Like many other territories which HN control, it is named after their God Okran.
It is characterized by its fertile grasslands, beautiful plant life, docile climate, plentiful water and the ever-annoying swarms of River Raptors that are the parasites of the paradise. Because it's one of the most fertile and stable regions in Kenshi, taking over this zone is the ambition of leaders from other factions[1]. It is one of the safest regions to be in, as the constant patrols prevents bandits from organizing into large groups[2], as well as blocking off much of the Shek raiders into this region[3].
The Holy Nation has developed a series of Holy Farms that can be found in Okran's Pride, alongside civilian caravans, Holy Farmers working the farms and killing the ever present River Raptors. It is also heavily patrolled by a large number of Holy armies, who will attempt to cull any River Nests[4] alongside any other undesirables that the Holy armies see.
Okran's Pride surrounds the same river which flows through Wend to the north and through the Border Zone to the south, and likely is the major provider for the water and precipitation of the environment. The constant rain in the Floodlands is probably the source of the river, which eventually gets deposited to the lowlands of the Swamp. There are small bridges around on top of the river that allows walking over.

Trivia[]
- Patrols of Shek Kingdom and Kral's Chosen are constantly attempting to invade into this region but have been blocked off as a result of Seta's forces. This can be seen in how when he is gone, their presence in this region starts to become noticable as spawns. And, in the case of Shek Kingdom specifically, how even after their assaults are clearly fully under way if Seto is imprisoned/dead, killing off either Seta or Phoenix still increases their presence, indicating that they were always there, just blocked off.
- Phoenix's status likely serves as a 2nd line of defense or reserve force aimed at eradicating the rest of Shek Warriors that weren't cleared off in the 1st round by Seta as his status is directly tied with certain Shek Kingdom spawns in this region.
- Given that this region has a large river flowing through it and that Holy Bars and Bakeries sells Dried Fishes, it's possible that this river contains some fish and some of the peasants catch them for their living.
- Okran's Pride is the most heavily patrolled region of the entire game for any faction, where Holy Nation patrols occupy over half (56%) of all homeless spawns generated here.
- This region is often times referred to as "grasslands" by characters outside of HN for its vegetation that is rarely found in Kenshi outside of this region.
Tips[]
- While this area is rich with fertile land and is remarkably safe provided that you're not hostile towards the HN, it should be noted that it is notorious for having very limited access to copper, with only a few sparse nodes scattered across the landscape.
- ↑ Shek Kingdom and Traders Guild will both take advantage of Holy Farms if allowed to
- ↑ Starving Bandits in this region have an average number of 8 only, as compared to the possible 12.5 of Okran's Gulf and 42 of Skinner's Roam is neighboring regions.
- ↑ Seta and Phoenix status combined prevents all forms of Shek Kingdom and Kral's Chosen patrols from spawning in this area.
- ↑ HN has -100 relations with Raptors
