So I only got Kenshi a few days ago, but I've been playing on my friends computer. I don't have much experience with bugs in Kenshi, But I couldn't find anything online about this issue. I bought one of the destroyed homes in squin. I was selling the copper. I was mining, and I began to notice that the guards weren't at either of the gates. It has been five days now and still no guards have gone to their posts, and I am worried for the saftey of my workers.
Very strange. Should probably make a report on either the Steam forums or Lo-Fi forums, that way the devs can look into the issue. Uploading the save for them would likely be a good idea as well.
After that, you could try making a journey to another town with everyone. If you get everyone far enough away from the town, town guards can regenerate over time. Alternatively you could import the save, which would force respawn them.
Either one of those should be far enough away to allow the guards to respawn. Then you can return if you wish. Though if you've got non-humans I'd stick with Admag, the folks up in Stack don't take kindly to non-humans.
Hey Shidan! I'm Emptylord, and I'm the Fandom Wiki Manager for Kenshi Wiki. I introduced myself on your Boards, but just wanted to drop you a message personally since you're one of the more active editors around here. Basically, if you have any questions relating to the wiki, I hope to be your first point of contact.
Welcome to our humble abode! I'm not as active as I used to be anymore, as IRL has reared its ugly head lately, but I do still like to keep an eye on things here when I can. Jellywish and Smile are likely going to be the main people you end up talking to, as they are the main editors right now. But I'll keep you in mind if I come across anything I need your assistance with. :)
when the rest of the map is released and you have make new maps for locations, zones, and territories, i have some requests for how the zones map looks.
I think it would flow better if you didn't overlay the colors on top of the areas and instead just drew boundary lines and put the names in the center. probably either black or white for both of these so that they stand out from the colors of the map.
Yeah, was already planning something along those lines, as I hate the colour overlay as well, it was simply the easiest option when I was first making it. But when doing the updated territory map I found a useful little tool to get the borders of the biomes easily, without the whole overlay, so I'll be utilizing that when I remake it.
half the images for items on this wiki don't match what i see in game. before i add these images to my newer pages (Robotics (Skill) and Armour Smith), i want to be sure that these aren't just really old pngs because it'll be a waste of time to insert images twice
unrelated but i see that one of your favorite pages is the headgear one and i'm probably gonna mess with that one a ton because i don't like the horizontal scroll bar.
There was a pretty big icon overhaul when 0.98.0 went live in the experimental build. So if said icons were uploaded Feb 27 or later then they're likely the new ones, if they're older than that it should be safe to replace them.
And feel free to change anything you want. I don't mind. So far any page I've seen that you've redesigned I've liked better than what it was before anyway. :)
Unfortunately just uploading another one will not help. There are issues generating a thumbnail when you go over 12.5 megapixels right now (which they go way over). The Fandom devs are looking into increasing this right now.
For the moment the only way to fix it would be to resize the image to be under 12.5 megapixels, which would heavily destroy the readability of the map unfortunately. If they can't increase it enough, I'll have to look into a way to do it. But for now I'd suggest we just hold on and wait for them. :)
