Manhunters are a Faction of people who hunt people who escaped Slavery for a living, similar to the Slave Hunters, albeit stronger, better-equipped, more frequent, and more numerous.
They can often be found in areas where lots of escaped slaves and bandits are around, usually capturing the likes of Starving Vagrants and Rebel Farmers. Although they will sometimes attack innocents (such as the player) and sell them to the slavers as "escaped slaves".
They will not target the player if the player is allied with either United Cities or Traders Guild, if there are any police nearby, if they are inside an NPC town, or if they are lesser in number than the player's squad. Although if the character in question IS indeed an escaped slave, they will still try to recapture them, nonetheless.
