Skeleton Player Characters

The Howler Maze is an island connected to the mainland with water covered land bridges to the north. The neighbouring regions are Heng and Gut. The island is known to be uninhabited, but is instead dominated by Crabs, with a few escaped slaves wandering in from the surrounding UC territory. A noticable amount of ruins are located here.

Inhabitants[]

There are no Major Towns or Minor Outposts in the Howler Maze. This zone does not spawn Camps.

Ancient Locations[]

These are places which do not have competent inhabitants. Ancient Locations are usually lost outposts or ruins. Beware: sometimes these locations contain territorial protectors such as Security Spiders.

Nests[]

Nests are temporary locations which can spawn randomly and typically belong to Animals.

Homeless Spawns[]

These are squads which spawn without being tied to a location, camp, or nest. This list is in order of likelihood.

Before building an outpost, players should find information about specific areas through Prospecting.

The island might be hard to build in because of the sporadic Acid Rain, Crabs, and dry land bridge. Also the island has what to appears to be either a crater or volcano caldera on the south side.

This zone has the 'crabby island' season. Seasons may cause harmful Weather Effects or be purely aesthetic.

  • Due to their bonus against animals, Polearms can be brought to assist in fending off crabs during exploration.

Trivia[]

  • The zones name coincides with the "Forsaken Howler" of The Legends Series. However, it's not stated whether they are related or named purely out of coincidence.
