Head plates were invented by an old forgotten clan that was obsessed with luck. Before battle they used prophets and shamans to predict where on their head the next fatal blow was due to land, then position the metal plate on their head accordingly. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. Such is luck, they would say.
The Hachigane, meaning "head protector", is a Light Armour that is equipped in the Headgear slot. It can be sold in UC Armour and Hat shops, as well as Ronin Hat Shops. This headgear is exclusive to Humans.
It can be crafted using the Heavy Armour Smithy after researching the blueprint.
This armour has inventory dimensions of 3x3.

The Hachigane is a metal plate attached to a white bandana. The metal plate is positioned so that the 'predicted' blow will land on the forehead and top of the skull.
