Still alive, eh? Looks like I didn't kill you enough last time!

The Dust King is the leader of the Dust Bandits faction. He lives in the Dust King Tower.

Aside from having an army of Dust Bandits protecting him, there are also quite a few Dust Bosses with standard or better equipment. The king himself has mostly high quality gear.

They wear [Standard] armour (5% chance of [High]) and have weapons manufactured by Skeleton Smiths.

World States[edit | edit source]

(If and only if the Dust King is dead)

If the Dust King is killed, the 'Bandit Demands' outpost Event by Dust Bandits will cease to occur.

Tips[edit | edit source]

  • The player can take the Dust King's bounty early on by hiring Mercenaries as bodyguards from the nearby Waystation. The Mercenaries can defeat the King and his guards (lockpicking the gate helps limit the amount of time Mercenaries are being shot by the turrets) within the one day contract and the player can collect his bounty for profit and strong early-game equipment. It is suggested to do this in the morning to give plenty of time before Dust Bandit patrols return and reinforce the tower.
  • On occasion, the bandit forces inside the tower won't aggro on the party when you fight the guards outside. It's possible to fight only part of the group, retreat to heal, and then fight the rest by entering the tower rather than fighting the entire group all at once.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • The Dust King was able to spawn as a Shek in previous versions of the game.
