Deadcat is a tiny, insignificant faction of small villages and survivors located in the Northern Coast and Dreg. They were once the inhabitants of the city of Deadcat[1], but they have since lost it to the ravenous Cannibal tribes, making this a faction of refugees.
Most of the survivors have taken up the trade of fishing in order to survive the harsh world. While generally good people, times have been hard on them. It is not uncommon for them to seem distant and untrustworthy of outsiders.
According to a forum post by a Lofi-Fi developer, the Deadcats were described as "Rebel Descendants", though it is unclear who they are rebels of.
Judging by their name, one possible theory is that they were the descendants of humans who rebelled and broke away from the Second Empire and their leader Cat-Lon.

Trivia[]
- Flotsam Ninjas are allied towards Deadcat, while The Holy Nation is seemingly aware (0) but neutral towards Deadcat.
- Fishing Village located in The Outlands is mistakenly assigned to Deadcat, as there was another version in FCS that should've had it be assigned to United Cities instead.
- While Cannibals are hostile to everyone, Deadcat is one of the few factions that hates Cannibals.
- It is unclear which faction the Deadcats were rebels of, such as the Holy Nation or the United Cities. It can even be possible that they were rebels of the Second Empire, hence the name Deadcats, a homage to the hated Emperor Cat-Lon.
- ↑ Cannibal Capital would appear as 'Deadcat' before coming closer to reveal its name, suggesting that it was previously their town.
