|“||The Ashlands are officially un-survivable, all previous expeditions there have resulted in the total loss of the teams. It's recommended that excursions keep to the surrounding areas, which should have some good finds.||”|
The Ashlands is an ashen landscape which was the domain of the Second Empire. Groups of Skeletons and Iron Spiders of the Skeleton Legion patrol this area, alongside the occasional Cleanser Unit. There are also large clouds of Poison Gas which periodically appear in this area, unless Cleanser Unit is present. As such, players are advised to bring a Fog Mask if their characters are vulnerable to this danger.

Tips[edit | edit source]
- Bring a Fog Mask.
- If you have a good sneaky character, this location is also fairly safe, making this zone an excellent source of income if you are not concerned with using artefacts for research (one can easily come back with 100,000 to 200,000 worth of cats from a single run).
- The best way to get to the Ashlands is through Stobe's Gamble and then to Sniper Valley, then go around the Skinhouse in the north east. Going through Cheaters Run and then Sonorous Dark's coast has robots if you are curious about entering their shacks. Swimming in the pits has acid water and a sniper tower.
